Recently, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has had a great experience in learning up her lines in Tamil, during the making of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavanan’, which is the Tamil version of the film ‘Raavan’.
Aishwarya, who had begun her career with the director in her first ever film which was in Tamil; Irvar’.During that film, Ash had not dubbed her own lines, it had required a professional dubbing artiste to do justice to her lines.

However, after almost a decade has passed, her work in the latest flick ‘Ravanan’, Ash has diligently done her homework well enough and learnt up her Tamil lines so well that her diction sounds just perfect.
According to sources, the actress learnt not only her lines, but the lines of her co-actors as well. This, she did so as to understand the full meaning of each line that was being spoken.
Ash has said several times, that in order to give her 100%she has to understand her dialogues, rather than just mugging up the lines and speaking them out.
The actress is also trying to shift her focus more on to the Southern films now, as it seems she is in need for more creative satisfaction.
Her work in southern films is not new, as she has worked in films like the one mentioned earlier, ‘Iruvar’, ‘Jeans’ (which was later dubbed in Hindi too), and ‘Kandukondain Kandukondain etc. Her recent ones include films like the yet to be released ‘Endhiran’ or ‘Robot’, ‘Raavanan’.
With Ash shifting her focus from bollywood to tollywood, we wonder what Abhishek is going to do; will he too focus down there in South? Only time will tell!
