Is Katrina Kaif the numero uno of Bollywood town after her stupendous success in Raajneeti? And is Aishwarya Rai an ageing passé after her flop show with Raavan? If you have begun thinking on those lines, then tighten your seat belts and gear up to be thrown into a world you have never seen before (unless you are more than 60-plus).

Coz the news pouring in is yelling hard at my ears that Aishwarya is bracing up to play Noor Inayat Khan, a British agent of Indian origin who was sent to occupied France to help the French Resistance during the doomsday-like days of World War II.
Aishwarya has, reportedly, expressed her interest in the project after being approached by the makers and she may have just even given the nod (though official announcement is awaited).
Noor Inayat Khan is a known historical figure who was an Indian Muslim Sufi and had the blood of the royal Tipu Sultan in her veins. A Russia-born, Noor’s family settled in France in 1920 amidst the clanking swords and explosive bombs of World War I. However, when the decisive World War II commenced, France came under the hands of the dreaded Nazis and Noor had to flee to England where she enrolled herself in the Women’s Auxillary Air Force.
With Aishwarya Rai’s inclusion in the $15 million project, anticipation and buzz has already germinated and, by the time you finish reading this, it may reach a crescendo of some unprecedented level…
