Freida Pinto, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra are busy lending their names to benevolent plans.

Freida has signed up with Nanhi Kali Foundation while Ash will be Smile Train’s first goodwill ambassador.

Nanhi Kali Foundation, for the uninitiated, aims to offer primary education to underprivileged girl children in India. Smile Train, on the other hand, is a leading cleft charity involved in providing free cleft surgery to poor children.

“God has given me plenty of reasons to smile and I feel it’s time to spread it around. Lot of children desperately need help, but can’t receive timely care since their families cannot afford this surgery or are uneducated,” says Ash.
