Freida takes over Aishwarya’s territory

Freida Pinto has gone a long way and made a mark for herself in Hollywood. In fact, now many Indian filmmakers are running after her with their films but she has no dates.

Freida, who was already an Indian face for leading cosmetic giant L’Oreal, has now become an international face for them. Yes, she is not the spokeswoman for L’Oreal India but L’Oreal Paris.

The “Slumdog Millionaire” star can now be seen showing her sparkling eyes for the brand’s new mascara ad. The previous mascara ad of L’Oreal Paris featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

After receiving flak for showing Freida a few shades lighter in their previous campaign, the brand has gone with her natural skin tone this time.

With this ad, Freida has joined the league of A-list representatives of the brand that includes sizzling beauties such as Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, Beyonce Knowles, Kerry Washington and Aishwarya.

Freida now also has an edge over Sonam Kapoor who is still a face of the brand in India.

Wonder what Ash is planning this time to retain herself as the only star from India to endorse the brand internationally.
