The Bachchans’ Unforgettable Tour has had a good response in some of the cities that it has gone to, but at the same time the high price of tickets have caused a problem at other venues.

The not-so-good-news for Bachchan fans is that stage shows have been cancelled in two European cities - Rotterdam in Holland and Oberhausen in Germany. Earlier, the show had also been cancelled in Vancouver, Canada.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is tracking the globe for his international concert the Unforgettable, has developed a severe cold and fever. The versatile actor, who is in Los Angeles right now, informed ardent fans on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com that he was not keeping well: “I have developed a fever and an inflamed chest.”

The Bachchans’ much-awaited Unforgettable opened in Toronto July 18 and travelled to Trinidad and in both the places it got an overwhelming response.

Amitabh has teamed up with his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai for this tour. Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh, composer duo Vishal-Shekhar and choreographer Shiamak Davar are also part of the troupe.

Having bought a place in Sanctuary Falls — a 96-villa double-gated community home — the actors also attended a “Residents Party” for owners in Jumeirah Golf Estates’s this week, a gulf daily reported.

Abhishek Bachchan has fulfilled his 5-year old promise to take Ash on a world tour with his ‘Unforgettable show’ but also made a new one at a press conference after their show in Trinidad.

Well, the story goes that after a splendid audience response to their show at the Caribbean Islands the duo and pa Amitabh Bachchan held a press conference along with stars like Preity and Riteish.

And just like paparazzi across the globe, those at Trinidad looked too curious as well. But what stumped everyone was a candid and unusual question from a certain gentleman that made Ash blush. He asked her if Abhishek had promised her a baby.

Abhishek Bachchan has tremendous respect for his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as an actress. And what’s the one thing he’s learnt from her?

“Her wonderful attitude,” says Abhishek, and goes on to explain that Aishwarya considers even her regional films as important as her Hollywood films. “She’s done films in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and English. We’re all, as actors, a large community of entertainers.

“Encore…Encore!” were the shouts from the crowd when Bollywood stars stood together to take a bow at the end of the first concert of ‘The Unforgettables’ tour in Toronto.

Such was the euphoria of the audience at the Roger Centre on Friday night. It was an evening filled with song, dance and dialogues by top Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan , Aishwarya Rai , Akshay Kumar , Preity Zinta and Ritesh Deshmukh .

The Bachchans’ world tour ‘Unforgettable’, is already making waves in Trinidad and Tobago as advance bookings for the show this month have been overwhelming.

Reports are that the event is expected to be a complete sell-out even though ticket prices are beyond the reach of the average fan.

The star studded show that will kick off in Toronto, Canada, July 18 will reach Trinidad and Tobago July 20 at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. It is the only Caribbean venue to be included on the show’s international itinerary.
