BOLYWOD ’S favorite couple Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may have just returned from a grueling shooting schedule for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’ (working title) but that hasn’t deterred them from signing yet another film together. Abhi-Ash would be starring in Excel Entertainment’s future project to be directed by Abhinay Deo (of ‘Delhi Belly’ fame). When will the film go on floors and where it would be filmed? “The film goes on floors on June 15 and we wrap up by October 8. We would be shooting in Greece, Istanbul, London and Thailand,” states Ritesh. But the film has met with a lot of speculation ever since that the film has been titled ‘Crooked.’ To get the facts straight, we got in touch with Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel. ‘Crooked’ is just the working title. We are still contemplating whether to use it or go in with a Hindi title.” The last time Ritesh had spoken to us, he had said that besides Abhi-Ash the film would also star four other actors. So have they signed anyone as yet, “Yes, besides Abhishek and Aishwarya, the film will also star Boman Irani and Jimmy Sheirgill. We are yet to finalize a couple of other actors and would be making an announcement soon,” signs off Ritesh. The film is a thriller and for a change Abhishek and Aishwarya are not paired opposite each other in this film

The incredibly attractive Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai was a guest on the Martha Stewart Show today.  Aishwarya Rai was featured on the Martha Stewart show to take part in a segment based around making Valentine’s Day crafts.  While on the Martha Stewart Show she most likely made some kind of trinket, card or gift that she was once given in high school.  Of course given the fact high school was what it was there’s a chance that upon receiving it she probably lit it on fire and then threw it back at the poor guy that had the misfortune of finding her attractive.  No, that’s not a stab at Aishwarya Rai. It’s probably just a subconscious ribbing at the sham holiday and my traumatic experiences with it, but back to what’s important: Aishwarya.

Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 33rd birthday in New York City with Aishwarya Rai and his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and actress Jaya Bachchan, on Thursday, February 5.

February 05, 2009, (Sawf News) – Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 33rd birthday in New York City with Aishwarya Rai and his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and actress Jaya Bachchan, on Thursday, February 5.

After winding up his filming schedule for Mani Ratnam’s Ravana, Abhishek flew to New York to join Aishwarya for the premiere of her Hollywood film, Pink Panther 2 on February 3, while Jaya and Amitabh jetted in from London.

Aishwarya was bundled up in layers of woolens – a beige coat over a red sweater with an overcoat thrown over her arms for later use. She wore blue jeans and accessorized with a white scarf, black boots, a black crocodile patterned hobo bag and oversized light brown sunglasses. Her hair was swept up and casually tied at the back with a hair clip.

A former Miss World, acclaimed actress and daughter-in-law of Bollywood’s first family ‘Bachchans’, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has many claims to fame. And topping them all is her current feat – winning the much-acclaimed civilian honour – Padma Shri.

Though the ‘Queen B’ never falls short of titles, the one name that her husband Abhishek lovingly calls her is, ‘Padma Shrimati’. Buzz has it that Jr Bachchan was shooting in Orcha when his better half was awarded the honour. In order to show his appreciation for his wife, the dishy actor sent her a bouquet of flowers with an affectionately penned note addressed to ‘Padma Shrimati’.
