Aishwarya Rai’s kitty was already full and the delay in the shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan has added to her filmmakers’ woes.

The actress had already shot major portions of Vipul Shah’s Action Replay, but there were three more songs that required 15 more days from her.

But because Ash got occupied with shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish, Shah will now have to wait till September to shoot with her.

Akshay Kumar too is not able to match his dates with Ash, which further intensifies the problem.

Vipul Shah’s film ‘Action Replay’ is getting delayed, all thanks to the stately Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. No, the actress isn’t directly responsible for the delay but it’s her stature, which forces filmmakers to go for nothing but the best. That’s why Vipul Shah has rejected music director Pritam’s song as many as three times. According to latest news, Pritam and the lyricists Irshad-Kamil are working on it for the fourth time.

After composing the song, the trio tried to convince Shah to accept the song but the director remained adamant, and said, “It is Aishwarya’s entry scene and I want it to be special.”

According to a source, Ash doesn’t know about the song. “No, Aishwarya hasn’t heard the song yet. Only after Vipul finalises the song, she will hear it,” said the source.

Aishwarya and Abhishek plan to start a family next year 23 Jun, 2009 11:07 am ISTlMUMBAI MIRROR Print EMail Discuss Share Save Comment Text: Aishwarya and Abhishek A lot of people in the industry have been wondering why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been working so hard lately even as she balances her time between her two sets of parents at Jalsa (the Bachchans) and La Mer (the Rais). Fact is that Aishwarya is in a hurry to finish up all her pending assignments so that she can keep a part of the year 2010 free for family affairs, and that includes motherhood. A source close to the couple said, “The two of them are fed up of relatives, strangers and relative strangers asking them when the stork is visiting. Secretly, they feel pressurised. It’s as if their parenthood is a public issue. Even when they are at airports waiting to board flights, over-exuberant ladies rush to them with an inquisitive look on their eager faces. Even before these fans open their mouth, Abhishek knows exactly what the question is, and he gets visibly annoyed. Aishwarya handles such over-inquisitive attention far more graciously.” Luckily there has been absolutely no peer pressure on Abhishek or Aishwarya about parenthood from either side. Neither the Bachchans nor the Rais are the type who badgers their children asking when they will start a family. But Aishwarya already has a plan, and parenthood probably comes next year when she completes her pending assignments, and that includes a parade of topnotch films including Vipul Shah’s Action Replay, Shankar’s Robot, Mani Ratnam’s Raavana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish for which Aishwarya starts shooting in Goa in August, followed by Abhinay Deo’s Crooked. In addition there are filmmakers like Rohan Sippy, Vishal Bharadwaj, Rituparno Ghosh and Ashutosh Gowariker waiting patiently in the queue to sign her. A source said, “This no doubt is the busiest phase of Aishwarya’s career. Such a flurry of assignments has never been seen before in any married actress’ life and she’d be foolish to let such opportunities slip by. Luckily, Abhishek is thoroughly supportive of her career. She wants to complete as many of these assignments as she can to before she becomes a mother. Because once she gets into that role she wouldn’t want any other distractions. That, Aishwarya is sure of.” Question: Do you think Aishwarya will click at the box-office even after starting a family?

Overworked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too busy to start a familyContrary to popular reports Bollywood’s favourite star couple Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan aren’t looking forward to start a family next year. Even though Aishwarya and Abhishek remain tightlipped on their personal life, buzz has it that Ash is in no mood to bid adieu to filmdom as the stunning beauty is quite occupied with her acting assignments.
Incidentally, Aishwarya is one such rare Bollywood actresses whose successful Box Office chase continues even after marriage! Apart from it, Aishwarya also has a couple of projects waiting for her approval.

Marriage seems to have proved lucky for Aishwarya as Bollywood filmmakers like Ashutosh Gowariker, Rohan Sippy, Rituparno Ghosh and Vishal Bhardwaj are eager to work with the green-eyed beauty.

Action to be hacked and ravaged by Bollywood – Akshay Kumar is on board to star in a remake of the Oscar winning movie.

The story remains the same – the protagonist is born an old man and becomes younger with the progression of time. Of course the film makers strongly believe it has no connection with Benjamin Button and that their film is just a romantic comedy, not at all similar to the English flick.

The Bollywood movie, named ‘Action Replay’, stars Aishwarya Rai with Akshay. In the film, Akshay starts off as an old man of 62, but grows younger to a college-going dude of 26 years of age. Since the movie would require meticulous make-up work, Shah is learnt to be in talks with Hollywood make-up expert Paul Pattison.
