Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will ring in the New Year in Goa. A source from the unit says, “Abhishek is shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, in Goa. It has been a month-long schedule. Although it is almost over, the cast and crew will be shooting till the evening of December 31. So Abhishek has decided to bring in New Year in Goa with Ashutosh and others. Aishwarya Rai will be joining him.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya’s presence in Goa is not too sure as they are both busy. However, Amitabh, he might just join them at the last moment. Deepika Padukone is not present in the current schedule and won’t be a part of the New Year celebration. Since Hrithik and his family will also be in Goa, one might see the Roshans and Bachchans bringing in the year together.” Abhishek’s spokesperson says, “He is not shooting on December 31 but he will be spending the New Year with his family.”

It has been just a few days since it was reported that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had praised Hrithik Roshan and told him that he was almost as good as Big B in his acting prowess.Yet, there are reports trickling in that during the shooting of the same film Guzaarish it was a sad day for both the actor and director when a very unfortunate incident took place between them.

It is reported that as a very important scene was being enacted, the director expected a very perfect performance from the actors. As Hrithik was enacting his part the director kept taking retakes. There were lots of retakes and so finally Hrithik could take it no longer. So, before giving another retake for the umpteenth time he asked thedirector what was wrong with his performance, the answer he got was that he was not putting 100% into the scene. After that there was an awkward feeling going around with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Hrithik not very comfortable with each other.

Endhiran, the Robot’, the tenth film by S.Shankar, stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. Rajnikanth reportedly plays a double role i the movie – as scientist Vaseegaran and as the robot developed by him. The film, expected to cost a whopping Rs 180 crore, may turn out to be the costliest film in India. AR Rahman composes the music for which he would be paid Rs 10 crore, it is rumoured.

The film was originally supposed to be produced by Ayngaran International, who backed out of the film midway through. Now, the film is being produced by Sun Pictures. The robot made in Rajnikanth’s likeness and the futuristic costumes esigned for the superstar have already become the rage among cinegoers.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has agreed to dub for the Tamil version of , sources say. The actress has been associated with the Tamil film industry for quite some years now with a couple of popular films like Iruvar and Jeans to her credit. The lady had been rendering the dialogues in these films by penning them down in English but ultimately the dubbing was done by another artiste.

For Raavan, however, Mani Ratnam had suggested that Ash should dub with her voice to bring in the essence of the film. And reports say that Ash has indeed agreed!

It is worth a mention here that Sandhya, Aishwarya Dhanush and Kanika were in consideration to dub for Ash in Raavan.

Apparently even Ash is being given her look by well-known Hollywood make-up artists and the process takes between 4-5 hours. While Amitabh’s Auro was perfected by Christien Tinsley (The Passion of the Christ) and Dominie Till (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy), Ash is getting help from Paul Pattison who has earlier styled Mel Gibson for Braveheart and Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be donning the character of an old lady in this time travel saga. The Husn ki Malika would be transformed into an aged woman by Hollywood make-up stylist Paul Pattison who had earlier worked over the looks of Mel Gibson (Braveheart) and Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible).

This Akshay Kumar starrer is expected to hit the screens in April 2010 and the film’s team are busy wrapping up the project.

Now, while her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan went on to play a 13-year-old child in ‘Paa’, Aish seem to just follow his steps by getting into a role opposite to her age… As the grapevines are buzzing over these titbits, it would be fair to remember ‘Umrao Jaan’ where Aishwarya had almost tried the aged role.
