Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had an interaction with tennis gems Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi when she attended the French Open with her parents Krishnaraj Rai and Vrinda Rai. She was present there as the brand ambassador of Longines. She handed over the Longines Prize for Elegance award to retired former World No. 1 Brazilian player Gustavo Kuerten. It was an altogether difference experience for Mrs Bachchan because award functions, party, events are common affair for Ash but standing on the tennis arena and being in the company of great tennis players like Steffi, Andre and Kuertan was a different feeling and experience.
Being the brand ambassador of Longines, Ash was given the responsibility to hand over the award to Kuertan. After retiring from the tennis world, he served for disadvantaged children. He won the French Open three times between 1997 and 2001 and was the Tennis Masters Cup champion in 2000. He retired in May 2008.
Aishwarya had a chat with Agassi and Steffi and had a charity dinner after the event. Mary Pierce, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf also endorses Longines.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave the IIFA awards a miss, instead choosing to attend the French open in Paris on Saturday. Dressed in a bright blue gown, the actress roamed the grounds at Rolland Garros, before sitting down to watch the womens’ final, sporting a hat, sunglasses, and casually waving a fan. Ash, who was accompanied by her parents Krishnaraj and Vrinda Rai, did not stay till the end of the match.

Surprisingly, Ash got anything but a VIP treatment at the match — the cameras did not focus on her even once. “She wasn’t given any coverage… I saw the entire match,” posted a blogger afterwards. “They didn’t even show her on telly!” posted another.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s arch rival and may-be-successor Katrina Kaif may have broken up with her Godfather & mentor cum boyfriend Salman Khan (most certainly, due to a visible age difference with Salman’s skin fattening up and head balding up). But, the Raajneeti actress has found a new love in her life.
Ranbir Kapoor, this may interest you. Kat has confessed her newly found love and unfortunately it has got nothing to do with you. Uncanny & bizarre it may sound but Katrina has fallen for a mouse (and no! We are not referring to the cute, lovable Jerry who has a love-hate relationship with Tom just like a Salman-Shahrukh). The mouse we are referring to sits stationery at Katrina’s house responding only to her touch. (Zara Zara Touch me touch me baby……..)
Actually, ssshh…..but the closely guarded secret is that Katty has been smitten by her computer mouse who takes her along for shopping and ensures that the beautiful maiden doesn’t has to face the hassles of public gaze and fan frenzy.

The film ‘Raavan’ has been a great advent adventurous experiences for the cast and crew, connected with it.
The most amazing shots, were taken by the director Mani Ratnam, by making on the spot decisions, which to the surprise of everyone, no one could avoid or dare to even back out.
Reportedly, there were many instances in the movie, where the director had asked his actors to do an on the spot jump or climb or wade through muddy water or some bizarre action sequence.
One such shot taken on the spur of the moment, was when the cast and crew were at the Athirapally waterfalls in Kerala. The director instantly decided to make the actors, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek, who kidnaps Ash in the flick, climb the slippery slopes of the waterfall.
Most surprisingly, Aishwarya and Abhishek, who were not perturbed by anything that the director asked for, readily agreed to go ahead, with the ‘on the spot ‘decision of the director, and climbed the slippery turf of the waterfall.
The slopes were extremely dangerous to climb, and the fact that there was a lot of moss made matters worse.

Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Rock a By Baby!

June 3rd, 2010

By Jilawatan

Abhishek and his lovely wife Aishwarya, who are to come in the forth-coming flick ‘Raavan’, not as a couple, but as adversaries, had no qualms while shooting for the movie.

Reportedly, there was a rickety bridge, or rather three bridges, made of wood constructed for the shooting of the fight sequence, in the film.
The fight was to be picturised between Abhishek Bachchan, who plays the bad guy and Vikram, who plays the male lead in the flick.
Since the bridges were constructed over the slush of muddy and clayey waters of the river flowing below, the actors had to wade through the slushy waters every morning to reach the shooting location, which were the bridges.
According to reports, even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had to reach the site, as she was also a part of the sequence, even though she had to play the silent observer of the fight between the two men.
Now, the muddy waters were infested with a lot of crabs and other tiny animals and an insect, thus Ash was totally petrified by all this. She just couldn’t think of wading through such a messy and dangerous stretch of muddy water.
Thus, in came hubby Abhishek to her rescue. The chivalrous Abhishek, used to carry his wife Ash, all the way to the bridges, and back, after the shoot. Well, this Rock a by baby act of Abhishek was appreciated by all unit members, and he truly turned out to be a hero of the film, inspite of playing the bad guy!
