Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is yet to become a mother but recently she has showed her motherly side. While shooting for ‘Ravan’ in the dense jungle of Kochi, Ash and her team was completely drenched for a particular scene. They had to wait in the wet condition for hours. Soon Ash spotted a little child in the team completely drenched and shivering in the cold, waiting for the scene to complete. Unable to see the panic of the child artiste, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wrapped her with a thick blanket. She knows very well that adults can stand cold but it would be hard for the kid to remain in wet for a long time.
Seeing her motherly side, the unit applauded her and talked in her praise. The little girl was relieved and could not stop praising the actress.
Ash has shown that she not only possesses a good skin but a kind heart also.

The most tantalizing stars of B-town – Shahrukh khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who as are popular as popular can possibly be –were rumored to be paired together in a forth coming Yash Raj movie . However, no such confirmation has been issued from the Yash Raj camp.
Now there are reports suggesting that the two that is Shahrukh and Ash, are not to be cast in any film, least of all a Yash Raj film. So, for the time being, fans of both the stars have to wait for a significantly longer time to see both of them sharing screen space once again.
Both the stars have been cast together in ‘Josh’, ‘Mohabattein’’Devdas’, and an item song in ‘Shakti, the Power’. Even though in ‘Josh’, they were not cast opposite each other, they came as siblings, where Shahrukh was Ash’s elder brother; both of them performed wonderfully and were liked by the audiences full on.
Their next film ‘Mohabattein’ was a super hit, and they were paired together in the flick, even though their roles were quite short in it. While in ‘Devdas’ they created magic on screen. The audiences had loved the pair and have been craving to se them together ever since.

If all goes well, director Shankar will wrap up the shooting of his Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Endhiran by July.

Shankar recently shot a song for his film in a yet-to-open star hotel in Chennai. A source close to the films unit said, Last week, Aishwarya flew down from Mumbai to shoot for a birthday party song.Shankar was looking for a lavish banquet hall where he could can the sequence. But, he wasn’t pleased with any of the halls. He finally chose a star hotel that is yet to be commissioned and asked his art director Sabu Cyril to decorate the interiors lavishly. The song has come out extremely well.

We hear that Shankar will wrap up the shoot of this much-awaited film after canning just one more song, which, in all probability, will be shot in a studio set in Chennai in July as soon as he gets dates from Ash.

Lonesong Street and A Stranger Called I author Pritish Nandy presented his new book Again at Mumbai’s Crossword Thursday night and longtime fan and friend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was there to support the journalist and poet.
And he needs it! The author of Again told reporters that if people don’t read poetry it’s because publishers aren’t doing their job! “You cannot judge a reader. It is the writer and publisher’s job to persuade the reader to take to reading. If your book is not being read, you better chase or change the publisher,” he told PTI.

“I think everyone should read and write poetry. Poetry is living. It is discovering yourself. If you have not written poetry, it means you have not discovered yourself. We need to go beyond the boundaries of academia. Poetry should attempt to discover a connect with the people. It should be fun and should not be just for examination purpose as done in schools,” he added.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and MP Shashi Tharoor came together to launch Pritish Nandy’s book of poems titled Again at in Mumbai on Thursday. Other celebrities present at the event were actor Anupam Kher and lyricist Gulzar.

Ash also read out select verses from the book. “After going through Again, I think I need to dig out his (Nandy’s) earlier works too and go through them,” she said.
Tharoor posted on Twitter, “With Aishwarya Rai on podium, poetic talk was drowned out by jostling lensmen.”

It could be a casting coup of sorts if film-maker Aditya Chopra has his way. Aditya is apparently trying to convince actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan to reunite for a movie. The last time they paired up on the silver screen was eight years ago for Devdas.

Aditya apparently has had telephonic conversations with both Shah Rukh and Aishwarya trying to coax them to do a project under his banner. Post 2002, Shah Rukh and Aishwarya never starred together in a film after it was widely gossiped that they had a fall-out.

When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan teams up with Mani Ratnam, they always share a special bond. From Ash’s debut feature Iruvar, she and the film-maker have been very thick and looks like in her forthcoming movie, based on the modern interpretation of the Ramayana, Aishwarya will have another reason to fondly cherish her relationship with Mani Ratnam.

The actor has been bowled over by A.R. Rahman’s compositions in the film, specially a track called ‘Rancha’ where she did an action sequence in the song. Bollywood traditionally has not looked at incorporating action scenes in songs but things are definitely changing as innovations with visualisations are on the rise.

Ash says, “To me it will always be a recall of a very fiery, feisty experience again on hearing it. One would have imagined of this the way Mani would visualise it but it’s incredible how he has brought about this inherent passion turmoil storm within individuals and within interpersonal energy within these two characters in the given situation.”

Looks like someone is having a lot of fun on the set of Action Replay! From disco dancers to fun loving hippies, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her Action Replay co-star Akshay Kumar have tried on several different looks for Vipul Shah’s new flick and now new pics of the acting duo rehearsing on the set have leaked!

The movie is about a man who travels back in time to the 70s when he was young and handsome. Both Ash and Akshay have worked with some of Hollywood’s best makeup artists to get into character and Ash even set a record in dress changes! The actress changed outfits over one hundred times while shooting a number the movie: “In one song, Aishwarya Rai changes costumes 125 times. Since this is necessary for the song, she did it. I think this is a record in Indian films,” Vipul Shah told reporters.

Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are perhaps the busiest couples in bollywood these days. The couple has been so busy with their schedules that they have had no time to be in Mumbai, for the past few months.
However, after having flown from Cannes to Chennai, to complete some portions of the Tamil Film ‘Endhiran’, or ‘Robot’, the Bachchan daughter in law is back in Mumbai, albeit for a few days.

The sad news is that Ash will not be able to attend he IIFA celebrations in Colombo, Sri Lanka, due to her prior commitments. Reportedly, the actor is going to fly to Paris, in the first week of June, to promote the ‘Longines’, which is an International watch Brand, of which she is the Brand Ambassador.
After the official promos, she will reportedly be attending the French Open.
Abhishek Bachchan, will also not be able to attend the IIFA celebrations, due to his shooting schedule of director Abhinay Deo’s flick ‘Game’. The actor is to go to Istanbul for the next round of shooting for the flick.
