Abhishek Kapoor will be back after the super-successful Rock On!! with a film said to be based on Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel ‘The 3 Mistakes Of My Life’. It will star real life couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. The couple has done many films together before and after their marriage, the latest being Guru and Raavan. While, Guru was a huge hit at the box office, Raavan failed to create any tremor. The remaining cast and credits are currently being finalized. Chetan Bhagat’s first two novels ‘Five Point Someone’ and ‘One Night @ the Call Center’ too were made into films named ’3 Idiots’ and ‘Hello’ respectively. The title of the film is yet to be decided.

While Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra shall be busy this winter with their herd of films, former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai shall be nurturing the new born baby boy.
Aishwarya is now an aunty. No, we are not referring to the jibe that Sonam Kapoor had shot at Ash but we are hinting at the birth of her nephew. Aishwarya is now, officially, an aunt after her brother Aditya’s wife gave birth to a baby boy on 26th November.
And Aishwarya has decided to spend the wintry days in lending her warmth to the newly arrived. Aishwarya has had a busy 2010 what with as many as 4 films getting a release. From ‘Raavan’ to ‘Endiran’ to ‘Action Replayy’ to ‘Guzaarish’, Ash has been on her toes running from pillar to post for the promotion of her flicks. Besides, she has also attended quite a few film festivals and events including the famed Cannes.
But after so much of tedious labour, ‘break toh banta hai boss’. She deserves a break and she has got herself one. For the next two months, she won’t be working but looking after her bhabhi (sister in law) and her angelic nephew.
And we have seen her caretaker side in ‘Guzaarish’ where she nurses Hrithik so adeptly and affectionately. All we can say is that her nephew is a lucky guy! Is Abhishek already envious?

The most delicious scene in Guzaarish was when Aishwarya Rai draws open the net curtains around a debilitated Hritik Roshan’s bed. Elbows out, she marched with an operatic grace only forgiven in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. This wasn’t Broadway, and she isn’t Anne Hathaway. But what may have been condemned as stage-y had it been another actor, was controlled exaggeration for Aishwarya, like a poetic hyperbole.

In Raavan, she looked ethereal, even ghost-like. She fell from a branch of a tree into a raging river in a manner more elegant than a qualified dancer’s moves. Her taandav with Abhishek Bachchan in the film was a visual feast. Yes, he is handsome and a tender performer, but who can get their gaze off the wife?

After many years of modeling and acting, Aishwarya Rai is planning on returning to school to finish her architecture studies. “After all this time, I still want to be an architect,” said Aishwarya Rai — one of the most beautiful women in the world. The Bollywood actress has always lent a serious note to her many film roles.

“Making so many movies has been wonderful and interesting for me, but I still feel the need to design buildings. Whenever I see a beautiful building, I think to myself that I could have done that. So many architects desire to design very expensive buildings so they can become very wealthy. I would like to design houses for the poorest of people. I would also like to design houses for pet turtles, but more than anything, I would like to design a whole series of Hindu temples.”

Once Farah Khan was on the helm of affairs, it was only a matter of time that she would explore the sex quotient of Katrina. After all, don’t forget, it was Farah who had ripped open Shahrukh Khan’s shirt in ‘Om Shanti Om’.

There’s time to work and there’s time to be with family. Having been busy with a number of projects lately, Aishwarya Rai is now taking a break.

The actress recently became a proud aunt after her brother Aditya’s wife gave birth to a baby boy on November 26. Ash is now itching to be with the newborn baby and help her bhabi (sis-in-law) in taking care of the little one.

So, no more new films for Ash for at least two months which she has reserved for family.

For the good part of this year, Ash has been busy with shootings and promotions of her films Guzaarish, Action Replayy, Endhiran (Robot) and Raavan. She’s also been shooting for ads and attending high-profile events like Cannes on the side.

She’ll now return to work next year, possibly in February.

The co-producer of ” Guzaarish” has justified the controversial promotional posters of the film that show Aishwarya Rai smoking a cigarette, saying it is “a creative requirement of the script”.

A letter issued by UTV Software Communications Private Limited to the National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE), a tobacco vigilante organisation headquartered in Goa, has stated that Ash’s smoking act on the posters was necessary.

“The scene in which the character, played by Aishwarya Rai, is shown smoking was merely a creative requirement for the script,” UTV Software communications limited has said in a letter to an anti-tobacco organization, quoting a spokesperson.

Earlier, NOTE had demanded the ‘smoking’ posters be deleted from the promotional campaign. In a written complaint, the organisation’s general secretary Shekhar Salkar had said that the display of the posters showing Aishwarya smoking could inspire her fans to take up the ‘cancer-stick’.
