Remember that emotional scene from ‘Paa’ where the on-screen father Abhishek Bachchan carries his on-screen son Amitabh Bachchan (aka Auro) on his back. Well, that may have been a necessity for the film’s script. But, in real life, too, Abhishek (known for his carefree and kiddish manners) often plays this game and no…….not with children but with his unit members.
For instance, during his shots in Rohan Sippy’s ‘Dum Maro Dum’, Abhishek often showcases his funny side and forces others to pamper him. He refuses to walk on his feet from his vanity van to the sets and demands that he be piggybacked to the set.
And Hussain (a crew member) spoils him by always fulfilling his demand. Hussain quips, “Abhishek meri jaan hai (Abhishek is my life-blood). We do this quite frequently, though not everyday.”
Now, if Abhishek can be such a huge prankster on the sets, then just imagine how naughty he must be with wife Aishwarya in their private moments. And I wonder, behind the closed doors of their bedrooms, if Abhishek piggybacks Ash or is it the other way round? Have you folks and fans of Aishwarya Rai got an inkling to this mystery?

Former Miss World, Bollywood diva and Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is busy convincing her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan to join twitter. “A big hello from maa, I am insisting her 2 join Twitter,” Ash tweeted on her account. Jaya Bachchan celebrated her 62nd birthday on Friday and looks like, as per Aishwarya, the occasion is right for her mother-in-law to join Twitter.

Interestingly, Jaya so far is the only member in the Bachchan family who has not joined any social networking site. Unlike, Big B, Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek are all on Twitter and regularly post. Though, it’s not clear if Jaya will join the social networking site.

Abhishek Bachchan’s wife Aishwarya Rai has already acted in Hollywood movies like ‘Pink Panther’ and now hubby dear seems to be taking inspiration from her to go for an international audience through Hollywood flicks. However, Abhishek Bachchan, who is son of legendary Amitabh Bachchan, made it clear that he was not interested in doing bit roles in Hollywood flicks and instead would continue to dance around trees in bollywood flicks.

Abhi went a step further and predicted that the day was not far when Hollywood biggies would be doing roles (Arnold Schwarzenegger has already done in ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ starring Kareena and Akshay Kumar) and dancing in them along with forty other dancers.

Bollywood film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Ray Bachchan, Jaya Prada, Himachal Pradesh’s ex-Chief Minister Shri Vir Bhadra Sinh today arrived at Bhavnagar airport to attend Shri Prithvirajsinh’s uttarkriya ceremony at Dared. Late Prithvirajsingh was brother-in-law of ex-Samajwadi leader Amarsingh who is nearest friend of Bachchan family. Amarsingh was also present at the ceremony with his twins daughters and wife.

All dignitaries arrived at Bhavnagar airport through chartered plan and reached Dared village by helicopter. Prithvirajsinh belongs to royal family of Dared, a village near Gujarat’s Bhavnagar city in Saurashtra. His widow Abhilashakumari is Judge in Gujarat High Court.

If reports are to be believed then there is a very angry and hurt Aishwarya out there who is not ready to let things go that easy for the Mumbai tabloid that published false reports on her having stomach tuberculosis and thus not able to fulfill her dreams of becoming a mother. This piece of unflattering news has left a very bitter taste in the mouth of the Bachchan household and an apology was demanded from the tabloid by both the men folk from the house namely Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.

But there was no such step taken by the tabloid. Aishwarya has been now offered to dance at an Award function endorsed by the same tabloid and reportedly was offered a whopping 75 lakhs for the stage performance, but the actress has gone on to decline the offer and has again demanded an apology from the tabloid authorities. There has been no response on that one from the tabloid or their representative.

Bachchan has addressed his latest blog to Mumbai Mirror editor, Menal Baghel.

Mumbai Mirror may have outraged the modesty of journalism, if there is any such thing, but “maliciously slandered the modesty of another woman?” We don’t think so.

The Bachchans have rubbished reports that Aishwarya Rai is under treatment for stomach tuberculosis.

The Mumbai Mirror had reported that Ash has had to delay pregnancy plans because of her ailment.

“I am completely shocked, appalled and extremely upset with the contents of the article. It is fabricated and false,” Aishwarya said in a letter to the paper.

On Twitter, Abhishek Bachchan said the media had crossed a line this time.

“You want to write and malign me or my father, I will take it. But the ladies of my home are off limits! They’ve gone too far this time….. I have never reacted to all the fabricated stories written by the media about me and my own. BUT THIS IS THE LIMIT!!!”

Aishwarya Rai, the gorgeous bahu of Shehanshah of bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and wife of handsome hunk Abhishek Bachchan, can not give birth to a child as she has been undergoing treatment for stomach tuberculosis.

Sources close to Bachchans reveal that Aishwarya Rai has been taking medicines to cure her TB but it is yet not fully gone and unless she is fully satisfied of her capacity to bear a child, she is not going to be in the family way. In fact, Aishwarya Rai, too, wants to have kids, much like her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and other members of the household, but doctors do not approve of going for a kid under such circumstances and so the lady has been avoiding getting pregnant.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan says he feels humbled after receiving the NDTV Indian of the Year award on Wednesday night.

This year, to coincide with its 21st anniversary, NDTV also honoured Indian icons of the last 21 years – among them, Amitabh Bachchan.

On his blog, Bachchan wrote about the ceremony, which he attended with his wife, Jaya, and his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

“NDTV Indian of the Year acknowledging 21 years of the existence of the channel and simultaneously acknowledging Indians that have been an inspiration for the country in these 21 years!!”
