Aishwarya Rai graces the cover of Verve’s ‘The Power issue’ in June and is looking not only hot but elegant on the spread, wearing no other colour but red, which denotes power, vigour, and strength. To intoxicate us, the lady has adorned a wine coloured gown, by her favourite Bollywood designer Shahab Durrazi. Her hairs are kept loose, back-curled, giving a wavy look and she sports no flashy make-up.
Though Kareena Kapoor has replaced her in the Filmfare power list, but in Verve Ash is amongst India’s 50 most influential women. The mag also features an exclusive story on Aishwarya’s ‘iconic reign’.For her fans, this cover-look comes as a refreshing change, as Aishwarya has almost stopped doing cover pages. She was last seen on Vogue’s October first anniversary special edition and that too she did to keep a promise to her close friend Anaita Adjania Shroff.
