If the grapevine is to be believed, the ‘Mohabbatein’ (2000) pair of Aishwarya Rai- Bachchan And Shah Rukh Khan are all set to end a seven year sabbatical and team up once again for King Khan’s home banner, ‘Red Chillies Entertainment.’
As may be recalled after ‘Mohabbatein’, the SRK-Aish pair had shot for Aziz Mirza’s ‘Chalte Chalte’(2003). Unfortunately due to an on the set showdown involving the lead pair and Salman Khan, Aishwarya was ousted from the project and in came Rani. As a fallout SRK was not invited for the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding.

Now here’s a funny story: Their seven-year-old cold war has finally ended and Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai will be seen together in SRK’s home production. Shooting for the film will start in 2010. Years ago, Aishwarya’s sudden ouster from “Chalte Chalte” led to a professional breakup between the two.
In fact, the subsequent cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh only made matters worse. But now SRK and Ash have buried the hatchet and come together once again. I don’t buy this . Aishwarya Rai is too bitchy to forgive and forget. Shah Rukh Khan can pass a Aish’s as his co-star ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.

We are all waiting for the Ash-Abhi starrer Ravana with baited breath. This will be the first movie starring the couple since Guru, and as luck would have it, even this one is directed by Mani Ratnam. What few people know is that while Ash was always to be a part of Ravana, Abhishek wasn’t the first choice for the role of Rama.
It was instead, one actor who Ash has had a slightly terse relationship with – Shah Rukh Khan. After Mani Ratnam cast Ash, he told her that he intended to ask Shah Rukh to play opposite her. Since vibes between them have been better lately, Ash agreed.
Ratnam then approached Shah Rukh, who was only too happy to agree. He told reporters the sequence of events recently. “Yes Mani sir had spoken to me. Actually there were two reasons I said yes to him. I had given up on Idiots or they had thrown me out of it, anyway you want to look at it.
