Abhi-Ash off to an undisclosed destination

Bollywood’s most talked about married couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai won’t be in India for their second wedding anniversary. They have taken off on a week-long holiday to an undisclosed destination.

“Last year Abhishek was slogging it out in Miami for Dostana and Aishwarya joined him there for their wedding anniversary.

This year they were again supposed to be working, though happily together, for the next schedule of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan on their anniversary,” a source close to the couple said.

But Ratnam, who was admitted to a private hospital Wednesday following breathing difficulty and dizziness, has been advised by doctor to rest for a while as a result the the schedule of Raavan has been slightly pushed ahead giving the pair a chance to go for a much-needed holiday.

PRIYANKA UPSETS ASH

Priyanka in her address did mention Ash as beautiful butskipped talking about her acting skill. So, Ash got upset. Priyanka,who bagged the Filmfare Best Actress award for ‘Fashion’, said thatshe was very happy to be nominated for ‘Fashion’ and ‘Dostana’ amongthe likes of beautiful Aishwarya Rai in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ and Kajol in‘U, Me Aur Hum’. Dostana out from troubles in Lahore

Pakistan, demesne of stringent discipline had banned Karan Johar’s Dostana since it was reported to have obnoxious contents of ‘Gay Issues’. With a lay man Khuram Khan filing a writ petition, a single bench of High Court of Lahore passed the order of banning the film. The court has stated that the movie propagates homosexualisms that is not entertained or supported in Pakistan. Of course, in reality it’s considered as a crime punishable by whipping, imprisonment and even death.

Khuram Khan, the petitioner stated Dostana promotes gay marriage that is proscribed in Islamic as well other religion. The petitioner had argued that Pakistan Censor Board shouldn’t allow the film’s release even though film distributors have obliged to screen it.  Also he added, “according to Islamic religion, Allah tells us in the Qur’an that He created everything in pairs”.
