Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai were spotted sharing a light moment at the Filmfare nomination bash in Mumbai recently.

Shahrukh and Ash have had a chequered working relationship. Years ago, the duo who sparked a matchless chemistry in Devdas fell out after Ash’s relationship woes with Salman Khan spilled over on the sets of the movie Chalte Chalte, following which Ash was dropped from the project and SRK vowed never to work with her again.

The freeze between them slowly thawed over the years but there have always been whispers of a lingering friction between the two. But at the nomination bash of Filmfare Awards, SRK and Ash were spotted without their respective spouses. There was no awkwardness between them. Rather, they shared a light moment, with SRK cracking his usual humour.

Being in the same industry, this had to happen. And to tell the truth, tinsel town was waiting for this moment since the day Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi broke up. The ex-lovers bumped into each other at the recent Filmfare awards.

Though they tried obviously to avoid each other, Ash and Vivek had to come face-to-face. Ash and hubby Abhi arrived right when Vivek was giving bites to the media and posing for the cameras. But the Bachchan bahu, being the diplomacy queen.

She is, pretended that she hadn’t seen her ex lover at all. She in fact started chatting with her husband Abhishek. They sat inside their car till Vivek finished and went inside. Vivek, however, noticed this and was rather pissed off. He left the venue soon after.
