Guzaarish actors Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai took a long time before working with each other in ‘Dhoom 2’. But once they did, their pairing which was being considered dubious simply, scorched the silver screen.
They recaptured the magic in Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ where they sizzled yet again in the garbs of the royal figurines. And Sanjay Leela Bhansali got them together again for the 3rd time for his ‘Guzaarish’. And ecstatically so, they haven’t disappointed!

Guzaarish has yet again proved that they are one of the best jodis of the current Bollywood. And dear movie buffs, keep your heart in its place. Coz they may team up again in an adaptation of Hamlet, the classic novel from the quill of William Shakespeare.
And the film maker in question is none other than the renowned Vishal Bharadwaj who has already made a couple of Shakespearian plays in Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello).
Now the director is desirous of completing his Shakespeare trilogy by making a Hindi adaptation of the cult Hamlet for which he has approached Hrithik and Aishwarya. Hrithik shall be portraying Hamlet and Aish his lady love Ophelia.
However, the actors still haven’t given their nod and no official confirmation has yet come from any side. But you fans may keep your fingers crossed.

Guzaarish, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that hits theatres on 19th November, is spawning headlines in gossip galleries as its release date draws nearer.
And with vigorous and aggressive promotions keeping everyone on his or her toe, director Bhansali is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the purity of his film’s characters.
Hrithik and Aishwarya are the two chief protagonists of the film and the romance between them has been presented in a very chaste and platonic way. Even the trailers have shown some extremely passionate romance brewing between the paraplegic Hrithik and his caring nurse Aishwarya. Sanjay is presenting their eternal love as his homage to the 1968’s Romeo and Juliet and he is happy with what he has done.

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan says that his upcoming movie Guzaarish, which releases on Nov 19, is special to him because it changed the way he sees the world.

The actor unveiled the first look of the film, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite him.

The 36-year-old actor plays a popular magician in the movie who becomes paraplegic after meeting with a near fatal accident.

Hrithik said his role in Guzaarish was his most difficult as well as the easiest. “Easiest because I managed to essay it under the guidance of Bhansali,” said the actor.

Guzaarish is Aishwarya’s third film with Bhansali. While each film with the director is an amazing experience, the latest project was exceptional, said the actress.

“Guzaarish is a beautiful piece of cinema,” she said. When asked about she and Hrithik being referred to as the magical pair of silver screen having delivered hits like Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar, Aishwarya said she works with directors and not co-stars.

“We actors play characters that the director envisages. I am fortunate to have worked with wonderful co-stars throughout my career,” she said.

Bhansali refused to divulge details of the film saying it was too early to do so. “The film is about the beauty, hope and the joy of living,” he said.

Bhansali has debuted as a music composer for the film. “I did the music because I understand the characters well. This was just an experiment. There are eight songs in the film and 12 in the music album,” said the director.

Whether it was Rajput princes in Jodha Akbar, the Bengali beauty in Devdas, a bored middle class wife in Raincoat, an ultra hot thief in Dhoom II, or the ethereal beauty in Umrao Jaan, or even the widow in Chokher Bali, the more diverse roles she has played, the more she has experimented with her looks. And let me tell you, all of them have only enhanced her beauty.
But this time, she is gonna ‘copy’. This is a very heavy word. The news is, her next movie Action Replayy will see her in a look which resembles yesteryears’ beauty queen Mumtaz. A source says, ‘ It was very important to get Ash’s look accurate as she plays a character set in the 1970s. Her makeup artist watched a lot of films made during that era to study its trends and styles. The filmmaker wanted Ash to sport a look similar to that of Mumtaz.
Since Mumtaz was a style icon then, so she inspired many other actresses too. So, they make up crew has drawn inspiration from other actresses looks.
‘It was a great experience to change my looks. I have had to sit with my makeup man for many hours to finalize my look.’ Said Aishwarya.
Action Replayy is directed by Vipul Shah and it stars Akshay Kumar, and Neha Dhupia.

Bollywood beauty queen Aishwariya Rai Bachchan was not seen in any films last season. Slotted for release this June, the movie has an investment of approximately Rs. 45 crores (450 million). It is heard that the shooting regime for this movie was extremely hard in terms of geographic and weather factors, but Aish was dedicated to her task and did it all without tantrums or qualms.

Next is Endhiran. Boasting of a Rs. 125 crores (1.25 million) budget, this bilingual sci-fi is directed by Shankar along with veteran Rajinikanth who is confident of the movie’s success as Aishwarya Rai is all set to travel with him in the movie.

Pairing up with khiladi Akshay Kumar for the second time Aishwarya will sizzle in this Vipul Shah’s flick Action Replay, which is due for release in the latter half of 2010. This Aish-Akki starrer is said to be costing the production upto Rs. 60 crores (600 million). A time travel tale that goes back to the 50′s, the story is based on an eponymous Gujrati Indian play, wherein the director has gone many lengths to assure the freshness of retro avatars for the lead stars. Shah, who has roped in designers Manish Malhotra and Shabina Khan for this task is positive that the appearances of the actors in this movie are its biggest USP.

Last, but certainly not the least in terms of its anticipating audiences, is Guzaarish that marks the comeback of renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the much-loved on screen pair of Aishwarya-Hrithik Roshan, after the success of Ashutosh’s Jodha Akbar. The film’s script is very fresh because it’s about a married nurse who falls in love with a paraplegic man portrayed by adonis Hrithik. UTV has been reported to shell out as much as Rs. 80 crores (800 million) in the making of Guzaarish.

So much so that Hrithik Roshan’s wife Suzanne Khan keeps visiting the sets of Sanjay Bhansali’s film to prevent any possible closeness developing between her husband and hot bong model Monikangana Dutta.

Sources close to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali say that Monikangana was feeling so uncomfortable with the presence of Suzanne Roshan that she requested Bhansali to excuse her from enacting the sensuous sequence with Hrithik. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali refused to oblige her as the scene was an intrinsic part of the story.

Sources from the set of ‘Guzaarish’ say that Hrithik Roshan and Monikangana Dutta were required to give a sensuous hot sequence as they are playing husband and wife in the film. To get a real feel to the whole sequence, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Hrithik Roshan and Monikangana to spend some quality time together before giving the final shots in Goa.
