Will Aishwarya fight Lok Sabha electionWill Aishwarya Rai fight Lok Sabha elections on Samajwadi party ticket? The question has become more intense following the sudden announcement of Sanjay Dutt’s candidature from Lucknow on Samajwadi party ticket.

It seems amazing but unfortunate that a follower of Lohiya, Mulayam Singh Yadav has started running behind Bollywood stars, even tainted ones in order to win some Parliamentary seats.

It is not just an issue of Aishwarya Rai. She is a wonderful woman and a great actress, but there are already several Bollywood personalities who anyhow overshadow this Lohiyaite Mulayam Singh Yadav.

There are already two Jayas, Jaya Parda and Jaya Bachchan. Now there will be along list of other stars who will give company to these Bollywood personalities.

Samajwadi party is trying to rope in everyone it seems fit to win election to contest next Lok Sabha elections for it. Just two days ago the party announced the name of Sanjay Dutt as a candidate from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat.

The Samajwadi Party which is rapidly scooping up all the top stars is said to have put forward Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name to contest a seat in Bihar, but Party General Secretary Amar Singh has apparently ruled it out. “I want her to stay away from even the ‘r’ of rajniti (politics),” he says.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan has come up with a new nickname for his beautiful wife. In honour of her winning the Padma Shri Award, he has named her Padma Shrimati. She is said to be delighted. Other Bollywood winners of the award were Akshay Kumar and sixties naatch girl Helen.

Aishwarya is currently filming Ravaana with Abhishek and Govinda; and Endhiran with Rajnikanth. She has also been signed up for Roland Joffe’s new epic Singularity, a love story set around four people – a British Officer, an American Marine Biologist and the women they love. The film will also star Christopher Recupito Rossi, an American dancer. Roland Joffe has been responsible for such extraordinary movies as The Killing Fields, City of Joy, also set in India, and The Scarlet Letter.
