Filmmaker Karan Johar today said rumours about Aishwarya Rai dissuading husband Abhishek Bachchan from working with Katrina Kaif were baseless and ridiculous. “Rumours about Aishwariya dissuading Abhishek from working with Katrina are absolutely baseless and ridiculous!!! The cast of Dostana 2 is Abhishek, John and Katrina and we start filming early next year!! Bringing Aishwarya into this is unwarranted!!,” Karan wrote on the microblogging site Twitter.
Dostana 2 is the sequel to the 2008 John-Abhishek -Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana. It is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and is a Karan Johar Production.

According to reports in a section of the media, Katrina allegedly walked out of the Abbas- Mastan movie inspired by Italian Job likely to feature Abhishek Bachchan. Hence, Aishwarya wanted her husband to be out of the Karan Johar film.

Abhishek and Katrina have been paired opposite each other in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar, a few years ago.

Aiswarya looked gorgeous at Rann Premiere as she was gracefully dressed in a black anarkali dress designed by Sabyasachi, but her mood spoilt when she saw that ex-boyfriend, Vivek Oberoi was there.

Her anger could be read from her face. As soon as the organizers noticed her anger they shifted Vivek to some other auditorium. During the premiere when Vivek came out for a while he was asked by some media person whether he received an invitation for the premiere or not. Vivek didn’t provide any specific answer to this and said “The Movie is still on, Mr. Bachchan is fantastic.”

Later Aishwarya was seen dragging Abhishek by hand outside the auditorium in order to show her displeasure towards Vivek presence. Sources said that Aishwarya was talking to Abhishek is an annoyed voice telling, “Who is leading us upstairs, are you taking us?”
Aishwarya was so upset through the evening that she didn’t even talk with the guests. Abhishek understood the situation and tried to cool her down by holding her shoulders and saying “Baby”. Abhishek could somehow convince Aishwarya to talk to director Ram Gopal Varma .

In the latest Bollywood buzz the much hype of Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Rann’ has come to a revelation, in the premiere of the film his beautiful daughter-in-law and actress Aishwariya Rai came to accompany him.

This film is done by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who reflects in ‘Rann’ about media’s lifestyle. Here he portrays senior Bachchan in the role of Vijay Harshvardhan Malik, the owner of a news channel whose words have been the ‘voice of truth’, for the people of the country. Consequently relating how he was forced to lie under pressure on his channel, viewed by lakhs of people across the country.

According to Amitabh the film is not about an attempt to show media in a negative light and states that he has immense respect for the media, adding, “I respect the media and feel that media is the conscience of the country. However, the medium of the media is very strong which puts a lot of responsibility on media persons as to what they report.”

As senior Bachchan stated, “It is a film where media plays a central role. In fact, media is just a character in the movie around which the story revolves.’

Superstar Bachchan was accompanied by his wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachcha also besides Aishwarya to mark this grand event of his life.

There are other noted features in the film who stares along with Bachchan are Riteish Deshmukh, Gul Panag, Paresh Rawal, South Indian actor Sudip and Rajat Kapoor, which is stated to mark a record in the Bollywood history.

Obviously, Aishwarya has a sensible reason to go for her father-in-law, who still continues to be a marvelous magnet of the Indian screen

The bold and beautiful Neetu Chandra of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ fame feels she is Aishwarya Rai because she has done films of Ram Gopal Varma and Jag Mundhra. Aishwarya Rai’s last two films were by these two directors. Not only that. Neetu has moved into an apartment in Mumbai Lokhandwala where Ash lived when she was fresh to Bollywood.

But at the recently held ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’ music launch function we heard Neetu Chandra saying she is planning to buy a house in Chennai as she is expecting more offers from south after ‘TVP’. May be she can buy a jet plane also to shuttle between the metros.
