Bollywood is surely a male dominated industry. Actors in their 40s romance with 20 something Bollywood heroines and no one raises an eyebrow, but if any actress gets paired with a hero younger than her tongues start wagging.
Actors continue to enjoy cult status irrespective of their marital status while it has been widely believed that men stop fantasizing about their actresses once she gets married.

Whoever said, married actresses have no career in tinsel town should eat their words. Aishwarya Rai has proved everyone wrong with an exciting professional life post marriage. The actress has completed Mani Ratnam’s Raavan and has moved on to Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Guzarish with Hrithik Roshan. She has got impressive advertising campaigns in her kitty and is actively involved in the promotional activities of AB corp. which is her home production in their current venture Paa directed by Balki.
The icing of the cake appears to be a latest grandiose historical project on the life of Mughal King Shah Jahan in which Ash will don the role of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Ben Kingsley who starred in Gandhi will be Shah Jahan. For Ash, doing historical characters is not something new as she has essayed such characters earlier in her career.
