After doing well in Bollywood, actress Aishwarya Rai has also managed to grab international attention with her international films like Mistress of Spices (2005), The Last Legion (2007) and the recently released Pink Panther 2.

Forbes magazine rated the actress as most bankable and ranked her ahead of veteran Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.Normally in the Indian film fraternity, the career graph shows a decline after tying knot, but the former Miss World proved it wrong.

Her stature in the film world bloomed to a great extent after her marriage with actor Abhishek Bachchan. Following her contribution to field of cinema, she was honored with the prestigious Padmashree award in January this year.

Forbes magazine has put Aishwarya above SRK, Aamir Khan and her former boyfriend Salman Khan in terms of her international appeal. Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek Bachchan is nowhere in the picture.

Abhishek’s name does not find any mention in Forbes magazine’s list of Hollywood’s most bankable stars from across the globe. Aishwarya Rai is at least 200 ranks above the second ranked Indian star on the list Aamir Khan and around 400 ranks above Shah Rukh Khan.

Aishwarya Rai is one of the most successful actresses of Bollywood. When most actress of her age have turned dotting wives and moms, the former beauty queen is experimenting in new and newer roles that are coming her way. She is still much in demand in Bollywod and also in Kollywood from where she began her acting stint.

The Bachchan family and Shahrukh Khan always have roughness in their relationship. When it just felt that Shahrukh had patched up with the Bachchans by attending the premier of Junior B’s ‘Drona’ there was an another twist in the story.

This time it involved Abhishek’s loving wife Aishwarya who didn’t want to respond a question related to King Khan.

A journalist questioned if Shahrukh was back in the Bachchan camp to which Aishwarya said that she cannot answer such a silly question.

On her career front Bachchan bahu said that she would shortly start shooting for a Mani Ratnam film which will also feature hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

Ash and SRK were said to be close to each other, which had worked together in Mohabbatein and Devdas.

But after adding up ‘Bachchan’ surname, Aishwarya does not seem to be too attached to Shahrukh anymore.

Shahrukh Khan had primarily planned to produce and act in Shankar’s Robot. But this preparation did not take off and the tender finally landed on superstar Rajinikanth. With the film being made in Tamil, the director decided to opt for a name change to get the tax sops announced by the Tamil Nadu government for films with Tamil names. It is now believed that Robot will be renamed as Yenthram

Shahrukh Khan showed up with wife Gauri Khan and kids at the premiere of Drona .

The shutterbugs could not have enough of SRK with the Bachchans. Flashbulbs blinked in quick succession as a dapper looking SRK and his wife stood beside Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan to pose for the cameramen.

The premiere was a star-studded affair attended by the movie’s cast and a host of celebrities from B-Town including Preity Zinta , Karan Johar , Ritesh Deshmukh , Sajid Khan , Yash Chopra , Sushmita Sen , Anil Kapoor , Sonam Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna .

Aamir Khan was also invited but he couldn’t make it to the premiere because he was shooting for 3 Idiots .

Both Abhishek and Ash looked dazzling. He wore a black suit with a bow tie, while Ash wore a fetching blue-coloured outfit.
