After nearly ten years, international manager Simone Sheffield has officially terminated her relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as her International Representative.

No reason was cited for the split. During their time together, Aishwarya became an international celebrity appearing on the top rated CBS program 60 Minutes, on the cover of Time Magazine, as well as being listed as one of their 100 most influential people in the entertainment world; appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show twice, and starred in the English language productions Bride And Prejudice, Mistress Of Spices, Provoked, The Last Legion co-starring with Oscar winner Colin Firth, and The Pink Panther 2.

Most recently the actress attended her first Academy Awards ceremony this past February. Over the past decade, she also has worked with some of the world’s leading fashion designers including Armani, Gucci, Cavalli and Saab.

After making her presence felt in Hollywood studios with films like ‘Bride and Prejudice’, ‘Mistress of Spice’, ‘Provoked’, ‘The Last Legion’ and ‘Pink Panther 2’, ex-Miss World and Bollywood’s reigning queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to clinch a movie deal with Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.

According to the latest news, Aishwarya, who is gracing the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, will soon be seen in another Hollywood project.

Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Russell was with his wife Danielle Spencer and they bonded well with Ash. Word is that they also discussed the possibility of doing a film together and both parties were very keen. It would be a great star cast to have for any movie as it would see the best of both industries coming together.”

It is hugely believed that Hollywood A-list stars like Eva Longoria-Parker and Elizabeth Banks have been inspired by B-town’s light-eyed beauty Aishwarya.

Rajnikant’s mega budget next Endhiran starring him along side Aishwarya Rai seems to have garnered a lot of curiosity as the makers are keeping the production a close guarded secret. Our sources reveal, “After having learnt sword fights for her English movie The Last Legion, Aishwarya has been training herself in Karate for Endhiran. A noted stunt master Ramesh who has been running a Japan Shito-Ryu karate school in the South for over 30 years, which is affiliated to the World Karate Federation is training the actress for the movie. Ramesh is teaching Aishwarya the basics of Karate for now. In the movie Aishwarya Rai and the other girls in the film will be learning Karate from her hero. Rajnikant is already trained in Karate so he will not have to train himself. Some interesting scenes were shot recently in the VIT University in Chennai.”

Despite rumours Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai remain a happily married couple. The two celebrated their second marriage ceremony in Europe before returning back to India to shoot for their next Mani Ratnam film.

Earlier it was expected the two leading stars of the Indian filmdom will celebrate their wedding anniversary on the sets of the film Ravana. But finally they were able to enjoy a quite wedding anniversary somewhere in Europe.

Says a source, “Last year, Abhishek was slogging it out in Miami for Dostana and Aishwarya joined him there for their first Wedding Anniversary.

This year, they were again supposed to be working, though happily together, for the next schedule of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan on their anniversary.”
