If everything goes well, then our very own international desi girl Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will rub shoulders with high profile Hollywood celebrities like Bill Gates, Steven Spielberg, Hillary Swank, Helen Mirren, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, David and Victoria Beckham and Penelope Cruz.
Well, don’t think that she has clinched a deal with a big budget Hollywood film. Rather news reports suggest that Aishwarya is all set to meet her dear friend Oprah Winfrey once again.
Apparently Oprah will be retiring from her talk show next year and is preparing for a reunion on a big level of all the stars who had graced her show.
A source has revealed that Aishwarya and Oprah have shared a very warm and close relationship since the first time they have met.

Oprah is launching her own TV channel and it is rumored that Ash will once again sit for a heart to heart chat with Oprah.They will look back at the past and shed light on incidents that changed their lives forever.
We think that will be a brilliant thing. Ash’s Hollywood projects are pending for long and may be she will spill some beans regarding them.

No, the beauty is not trying on a grey character, but actually will be seen in grey hair in Vipul Shah’s ‘Action Replay’.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be donning the character of an old lady in this time travel saga. The Husn ki Malika would be transformed into an aged woman by Hollywood make-up stylist Paul Pattison who had earlier worked over the looks of Mel Gibson (Braveheart) and Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible).

This Akshay Kumar starrer is expected to hit the screens in April 2010 and the film’s team are busy wrapping up the project.

Now, while her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan went on to play a 13-year-old child in ‘Paa’, Aish seem to just follow his steps by getting into a role opposite to her age… As the grapevines are buzzing over these titbits, it would be fair to remember ‘Umrao Jaan’ where Aishwarya had almost tried the aged role. However, the actress’s old character was partially behind a curtain in most parts where she speaks of her young days in the film.

Aishwarya, in keeping with her status as an international star, has made appearances at Cannes, has a statue at Madame Tussauds and has appeared on David Letterman’s Late Show and on Oprah Winfrey in the past.

This time her husband Abhishek kept her company as he had been invited on the show with her. They had flown to the States last week to shoot for an episode on Oprah.

In February 2007, she won over Oprah with a sari. Oprah had enthusiastically volunteered to be draped in the sari, which she found sensuous. We wonder if Aishwarya will remember it and wear a sensuous drape to her show this time.

Aishwarya had spoken about living at home and the importance of family and this year, she can re-emphasise family values as the first couple of Bollywood may have much to say about their wedded bliss.

Appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show is a prestigious affair as stars like Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and others have opened their hearts out on her couch. It will be interesting to see if Ash is her diplomatic self or will reveal a new facet of her personality.

Oscar-winning make-up artist Paul Pattison who has styled the likes of Mel Gibson for Braveheart and Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible will now be working his magic on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Vipul Shah’s Action Replay.

Sources say that Vipul had to pull many strings to get the makers of the Hollywood films Paul is working with to release him for a few days so that he could come down and finalise the look for Ash before she got busy with another schedule of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.

An informer reveals, “Paul was on the wish-list of Vipul when he conceptualised Action Replay, but he was busy with two films  Chicane and The Waiting City. When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her dates available, Vipul contacted Pattison only to find that he was tied up. It was crucial to get him down before Ash got busy again or it would have delayed his own film. So he requested the Hollywood film-makers to release him for a few days.”

Finally Paul did fly down to Mumbai and had a long session with Aishwarya. Confirms Vipul, “Not just Aishwarya, Paul has also created Akshay’s look in the film. It is true we had to approach film-makers with whom he was working to get him a few days off. We wanted him to create a completely new look for both Akshay and Aishwarya.”

It is no great surprise that Aishwarya Rai is recognized as the world’s one of the most beautiful woman. She is even acknowledged as an international star too.
