Bollywood’s empress Aishwarya Rai has been silent for the last couple of seasons. She didn’t feature in any Bollywood flick in 2009 letting Vidya Balan to escape with the Filmfare Best Actress trophy. But in 2010 the tigress is all set to roar again with 4 films to hit the theatres:

1. Ravana- This Mani Ratnam film has been making the headlines for quite some time. It’s a modern take on the epic Ramayana and the tale has been told from Ravana’s point of view. An interesting wait coz Sita (Aishwarya) will be abducted by her real life hubby Abhishek Bachchan who will essay the notorious character of Ravana.
2. Enhiran- This film from South Indian shores will see Ash paired up alongside veteran Rajnikant in a science-fiction flick. Much needs to be seen how well it shapes up.
3. Action Replay- Pairing up with sexy Akshay, Aishwarya will sizzle again in this Vipul Shah’s flick which will hit cinemas in the latter half of 2010.
4. Guzaarish- Probably, the most anticipated film, it marks the comeback of renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the much-loved, screen-scorching pair of Aishwarya-Hrithik. The film’s script is afresh where a married nurse falls in love with a paraplegic man portrayed by the maverick Hrithik Roshan.

The poll conducted by Filmfare has revealed that when it comes to attires, the mango public (Aam janta) shows its thumbs down to Mallika Sherawat. The ‘Murder’ lady has yet again topped the worst dressed list and has been keeping the title since last year. However, compared to last year’s 31 % vote, this year the bombshell has garnered a mammoth 42 % vote.

The major reason behind her topping the list is the black creation she wore at a recent international film festival that was as bizarre as bizarre could be. Looks like, the damsel hasn’t learnt a thing from last year’s Cannes fiasco where she was clad in a dress that deliberately popped her breasts out.

But, apart from Mallika, Vidya Balan, too has faced media’s wrath a no. of times for her idiotic dress sense. And Aishwarya Rai, too, hasn’t been spared the whip for her flabbergasting costumes that wrapped her voluptuous frame in quite a few international circuits.

After Aishwarya’s giggles at various events and film sets became talk of the town, it’s Vidya Balan who is in news for the same reason these days.

Vidya has reportedly been conferred by a new nickname ‘Giggles’. While shooting for for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Ishqiya’, Vidya apparently laughed so much on the sets that her co-star Arshad Warsi started calling her ‘Giggles’.

Confirming the news, Arshad said, “There’s a story behind this. Vidya laughs a lot and can’t control herself. She just goes on laughing like crazy. She doesn’t even need someone to crack a joke… she laughs JLT (just like that). Sometimes she used to crack up in the middle of a shot and then Naseeruddin and I had to wait till she finished… Man, that’s some talent she has! So we call her Giggles.”

No matter how much someone giggles, beating Ash in that category is quite impossible!
