Aishwarya Rai had a scandalous affair with actor Vivek Oberoi, whose public brawl with Salman Khan (and the 41 phone calls) still remain vividly etched in our minds. After that incident, Aishwarya left him and so did lady luck.
Since that image shattering incident, Vivek’s charm has eroded and he’s now struggling to find a foothold in the industry. Vivek, nevertheless, has been great with the girls. A self-confessed flirt, he has always basked in female company.

His latest tryst was with his Prince co-star Neeru Bajwa but Vivek had vehemently denied the rumours by citing, “That’s all rubbish. I’ve been linked up with 50 girls in last four years. At least 10 of them I’ve never met. No wonder my mother is searching for a girl for me. She wants me to settle down”.
And, looks like, his mother has hunted down the perfect bride. Reportedly, he is all set to tie the knot later this year with Priyanka (no no…….not Chopra) but with Priyanka Alva, a girl from Karnataka. It is touted to be an arranged marriage and, reportedly, scheduled for 29th October this year.
The duo shall get engaged in the 1st week of September, possibly on the date of Vivek’s birthday, 3rd September……..Wonder if Aishwarya and Salman would receive the wedding cards……

It’s no surprise that Vivek Oberoi’s ex flame Aishwarya Rai didn’t show up at the IIFA Awards 2010 as her father-in-law himself had sidelined the show owing to protests and turmoil despite him being the brand ambassador.
But when a certain Salman Khan spat sarcasm at Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwaray Rai Bachchan for not supporting the people in times of adversity, Vivek directly defended them even boldly taking their names.
Speaking to the reporters, Vivek went outspoken and said,
“You have to respect the fact that people have work for which they sometimes cannot turn up at events. It happens to each one of us. I know everyone wanted to see the Bachchan family in Colombo. They are being missed by the people of Sri Lanka as well as by everyone of us. Abhishek and Aishwarya have a film up for release and, trust me, there is a lot of work and stress during a release (of Raavan). So, give them a respite. I’m sure they would be missing being here too.”

Now, if an actress is as beautiful as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, then there are bound to be flings. However, the actress has been very lucky, as she has been the star of all of her boyfriends eyes, some even having tiffs over her.
Take for example our macho star Salman Khan, the two that is, Salman and Aishwarya worked in a romantic film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and became the best of pals. Slowly, the friendship blossomed into the most romantic tale of all.
The pair was amongst the best that bollywood could ever boast of. However, as they say, all good things come to an end; this couple had to bear the brunt of their relationship, due to certain problems like over possessiveness. Thus, after a turbulent time with the couple breaking up, it was a sad end to a beautiful love story.
Just as Aishwarya was nursing her wounds of sorrow in private, came a young energetic guy in the form of Vivek Oberoi.
As the two worked together in films, the closeness grew. There was a fondness that developed between the couple which soon was on the verge of blossoming into love. One news that is doing the rounds now-a-days is that Vivek Oberoi is completely obsessed with Aishwarya Rai all over again. He is said to be following her everywhere she goes. In a recent incident he was seen at the premier of the film Rann where Ash and Abhishek were invitees.

Vivek barged into the show half hour late all alone; the irony is that he was not even invited. He was seen earlier at a few other functions uninvited, all because Ash was present.

Now, no one knows why the actor is suddenly becoming so interested in the married lady, he is surely inviting unwarranted trouble!

Aiswarya looked gorgeous at Rann Premiere as she was gracefully dressed in a black anarkali dress designed by Sabyasachi, but her mood spoilt when she saw that ex-boyfriend, Vivek Oberoi was there.

Her anger could be read from her face. As soon as the organizers noticed her anger they shifted Vivek to some other auditorium. During the premiere when Vivek came out for a while he was asked by some media person whether he received an invitation for the premiere or not. Vivek didn’t provide any specific answer to this and said “The Movie is still on, Mr. Bachchan is fantastic.”

Later Aishwarya was seen dragging Abhishek by hand outside the auditorium in order to show her displeasure towards Vivek presence. Sources said that Aishwarya was talking to Abhishek is an annoyed voice telling, “Who is leading us upstairs, are you taking us?”
Aishwarya was so upset through the evening that she didn’t even talk with the guests. Abhishek understood the situation and tried to cool her down by holding her shoulders and saying “Baby”. Abhishek could somehow convince Aishwarya to talk to director Ram Gopal Varma .

Hrithik Roshan, the only super hero of bollywood who plays lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming flick ‘Guzaarish’ opposite gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, turned thirty- six and celebrated the occasion in style at a Juhu hot spot.

Sources present in the party say that Hrithik Roshan, who plays a paraplegic person in ‘Guzaarish’ had directly come from the shoot and hence was looking tired, but soon cheered up after seeing wife Suzanne and other family members. However, Monikangana Dutta( who plays Hrithik’s wife in ‘Guzaarish’ and was reportedly attracting unwelcome attention from Suzanne Khan for her hot sequences) was heard rubbishing her link- up with the handsome hunk.

In fact, the lady seemed quite upset with the talk of those link up stories and was seen clarifying to a friend. The party was a rocking affair with the presence of badshah Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Twinkle Khanna etc. But Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif gave the party a miss.

“I will like to turn to an Item Boy with IIFA 2011,” says Vivek Oberoi stating that he would be dancing in the show. Vivek’s film Prince and Raktacharitra are due for release this year and he would be up for nominations in the coming year and hence the need to woo the international audiences and the IIFA organizers.

Oby Baby’s participation in the IIFA could perhaps have some ominous signs for the Bacchan Bahu Aishwarya Rai. Ash has been steering clear of Vivek, but this time she would have no option but to even exchange pleasantries because the Bacchan family is also one of the organizers of the IIFA as Amitabh Bacchan is said to be a stakeholder in the annual international movie awards ceremony for which he is also the brand ambassador.

And when the “Devdas” star attended the “Avatar” premiere with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, another former boyfriend, Vivek Oberoi, ended up right behind her in the movie theater! This time however, Aishwarya didn’t need to go out of her way to avoid her ex as Vivek took care of business and ran out of the theater, leaving his 3D glasses behind!
